Oct. 4 - The Rave, Milwaukee 8PM

KMFDM - COMBICHRIST - FLAT ATOM - CAUSTIC
http://www.therave.com/eventinfo.asp?id=2226

The German industrial metal group KMFDM reigned in the 90's alongside Nine Inch Nails and Ministry. Since their days as an underground sensation, they have dominated both America and their homeland with their crushing synthesis of dance beats and industrial percussion atop sinster instrumentation. Hits like "Drug Against War" and "Godlike" display their generally savage production and vicious approach, boasting riffs as dark and violent as Slayer's and a strong backdrop of radical political content. Distorted vocals, razor-sharp guitars and pounding drums are offered straight-up in a splatter of fury. Insiduously arty and intellectually sassy, KMFDM meshes greatly diversified elements for an attractive, lazer-sharp whole.

Madison acts Flat Atom and Caustic open the show.

ALL AGES!!!!! (21+ to drink) only $15.00!!!!!

Flat Atom is pleased to announce the addition of a new member, DJ Puzzle of PLP (PeaceLove Productions) on percussion control and synth taming. We've decided to forego the traditional rock band set-up wed been abusing in the past and adopt a line-up more in tune with industrial's approach to technology use and manipulation for most of the live shows. We think Puz will be a perfect match to our new approach, and couldn't be happier to be working with him again.

For all you rivet hedz that love the primal pound of live drums, we will still be using the talents of Trever ( www.myspace.com/frenzycub ) and James Anthony ( www.myspace.com/thelevitator ) periodically when they are able and willing. Keep your eyes open for those local shows. James will be coming into the studio this month with us to lay down drum tracks for our new CD which we hope to release later this year or early 2007.

Dj Puzzle will be joining us permanently in Sept., after we're done with August's touring and recording. Chicagoland folks - keep an eye out, we'll be burning him in during the month of September in your fair city.

Fore more info on DJ Puzzle check out www.peaceloveproductions.com or www.djpuzzle.com . We are very excited about this new era of Flat Atom

The Thump would like to congratulate his lil sister and her husband on the latest addition to the “Thump Clan” – J.D. Holman, 7 pounds and 11 ounces of screaming love. Upon his third birthday J.D. will be receiving a drumset, courtesy of Flat Atom, which hopefully will annoy his parents to no end ;)>
